I can’t concentrate
I can’t sit still
I need to be calmed
Relaxed with a pill

I need something to help
I need someone to try
I need to be settled
And held while I cry

I’m trying so hard
But I can’t do it on my own
I need a friend to be there
Someone that I can phone

Someone who understands me
Someone who’s not afraid
Someone who will still be there
When all the others fade

They all fade into the background
It’s too much for them to stay
They cannot handle my pain
And they decide to go away

I need someone who’s willing
To help me learn to be
I need help learning how to live
And learning who is me
